Power, performance, versatility, expandability, these attributes mean nothing to me when compared with the sleek sexy slim mobility of the MacBook Air. I was driven purely by lust when I traded in my brand-new MacBook Pro (ate 2008) and walked out of my local Apple Store with a feather-light MacBook Air under my arm. The numbers just don’t add up. The MacBook Pro is faster, it has a larger screen, more ports, and greater expandability. It can do everything the MacBook Air can do plus more. Except it can’t fit in an interoffice mailing envelope, and it doesn’t weigh just 3 pounds. When it comes to laptops I am a mobility guy, and the MacBook Air is for me.
