Apple’s new 15.4" MacBook Pro (late 2008) is slightly larger than the previous model. The MacBook Pro (early 2008) was 1 inch tall, 14.1 inches wide, and 9.6 inches deep. While new late 2008 version is 0.95 inches tall, 14.35 inches wide, and 9.82 inches deep. A simple size comparison of the two different models depicts the difference. Although the variation presented by the graphic comparison may be perceived as insignificant, in reality the change is noticeable. Especially when you try to squeeze your new MacBook Pro into a laptop sleeve designed to accommodate the previous model. I guess it is about time I replace my 2003 Timbuk2 messenger bag.
