Last night I went out fishing along the streets of Boston and into Apple’s newest flagship Bolyston St. retail store. My tackle box for this trip included only a single lens, the Nikkor 10.5mm Fisheye. A fisheye lens introduces a staggering 180 degree view to the eye of the photographer. Upon first use its unique perspective can be perceived as both a disorienting and challenging photographic experience. Almost everything a photographer know about composition has to be altered when using a fisheye lens. In order to force myself into the fisheye point-of-view I decided to remove any additional equipment from my camera bag, and see only from the eye of a fish.
