Until recently I have never held much of an interest in photography. Being visually impaired I had always assumed the hobby of capturing photographs would never be a past-time in which I could excel. During college I had taken a film photography class. No matter how hard I tried, or how many shots I took, I always seemed to present blurry out of focus prints. Since that disappointing class I have only engaged in the activity of photography as purely a utilitarian function of personal record keeping. It wasn’t until I adopted the iPhone as my carry-everywhere camera that I once again became inspired and decided to purchase my first digital SLR, the Nikon D40.
