I have been holding off from purchasing any of the latest video game consoles for several reasons.

  • Most of the modern game consoles are designed to be used with a HDTV I don’t own.
  • In the past couple of years I have been playing far less videos games in an attempt to remain productively engaged in web design.
  • I have been satisfied with playing Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer on my Mac even though the game is more than fours years old.
  • The Nintendo Wii, my future console of choice, is still nearly impossible to purchase in a retail store without first being on a waiting list.
