John Schettino, a complete stranger from the vastness of Twitter, just asked me if I was a “Newton Refugee?” Now I have never been called a Newton Refugee before, and frankly I don’t consider myself one either. Sure, the association with the title of Newton probably fits, but due to a matter of timing I could never consider myself a Newton Refugee. Newton Refugees are the Newton users Apple left behind when they abandoned the platform in March of 1998. I on the other hand didn’t start using a Newton until sometime late last year. Many of these long time Newton faithful, as well as myself, can be found as regulars participants on the NewtonTalk mailing list.
