I recently picked up a keyboard for my Newton, what an oxymoron is that! Sure it types great, and makes adding large amounts of data to the Newton easier, but it also makes the Newton experience less satisfying. Just bringing a keyboard along with my Newton makes the entire package less mobile. The Newton by itself is a large PDA, and although the Newton keyboard may be small for a conventional keyboard, the combination of the two together makes the entire platform far less portable. With a keyboard you cannot easily enter data while standing up. Nor can you navigate the Newton interface with a keyboard alone, you still need a stylus.
