As far as computers go, Newtons and other unconventional electronic input methods aside, the amount of content one creates vs. the amount of content one consumes can be directly compared to how often one uses the keyboard vs. how often one uses the mouse. At lease that is my thesis after losing my keyboard to aggressive cleaning. Without a functioning keyboard I have found myself doing far more internet searching over content creating purely because navigating the internet is far easier than writing or designing using the mouse alone. I couldn’t be writing this post without my Newton. My Halo time has gone down dramatically though.
