No matter how well off you are, or how much power and respect you have gathered, you can still only influenece 50% of the interest in any mutually beneficial relationship. Holding too much, or too little interest only weakens it. For a mutually beneficial relationship to strive both parties must not only enter equally but maintain equal interest. This is a hard lesson to learn for even the most wisest, and socialy experienced individuals. Many times in life our own personal wants take our focus away from the bigger picture. We either find ourselves too involved or too distant, and as the deviding line of our relationship bows so does the foundation it is built upon.
