When we are young the passing of time is ill-relevant. We lack a comparison to reference the span of time upon, and fail to be held accountable for responsibilities judged against time’s passing. Our lives, and the events that occur within them, are dictated by circumstance, or orchestrated by the decisions and clocks of others. We do not mourn the minutes passed and wasted, for we have failed to observe their passing. Only when we are older, wiser, and our responsibilities has grown of age do we witness time’s eternal march forward. Place value in time well spent, and use our futures to formulate goals and objectives for which we strive to achieve.
